We are proud to announce Matthew Maimone’s Piano Recital here  Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 3:00 pm in the Club Room.

You are cordially invited to hear Matthew  play pieces from Bach, Beethoven and Charles Ives.  He will be in the area after playing the Gustave Romero Piano Competition in Lynchburg (sponsored by Forte Chamber Music and The Academy of Fine Arts).

Matthew is the great grandson of resident Clara Lester. He attends Julliard during the school season.

Light refreshments will be served after the event.  We look forward to an entertaining evening with Matthew.

The Evergreens at Smith Run has their our own chapter for Red Hats.

The Ever Reds  has been in existence for three years and the chapter is registered with the Red Hat Society. Our members have loads of fun and enjoy the many activities. Most of the ladies have taken on Royal Titles such as Baroness of Laughter and Lady X Checker.  These  ladies gather for any excuse to have a good time. They live life to the fullest and have a great time doing so.
